New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University hosted a debate dedicated to the Armenian-Indian relations

On May 29, the «Indian-Armenian Friendship» NGO organized a debate at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University dedicated to the relations between the two countries, with participation of the former Ambassadors of India to Armenia Messrs Achal Malhotra and Suresh Babu, the newly appointed Ambassador Yogeshwar Sangwan and the Ambassador of Armenia to India Armen Martirosyan.

The representatives of the Armenian community in New Delhi, the university faculty and students attended the event.

NGO Founder R. Anand delivered the opening address. The Ambassadors presented an overview of the history of development of Armenian–Indian relations, the current situation and the future prospects, and answered numerous questions of the participants.

The event was concluded with the presentation of the organization’s official website.
