Q.1

How do citizens of India, holding an ordinary passport, obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

Citizens of India obtain Armenian entry visa:

 

  • Through e-Visa Issuance System
  • By applying to any Embassy of Armenia abroad with the documents mentioned below:

    1. Visa application form with one passport-size colore photo

    2. Passport and its photocopy

    3. The printout of the online payment of the visa fee

 

The information about the fees for consular services is available here. After choosing the necessary visa type, the online payment should be made by clicking "Pay" and then selecting "India (New Delhi)". Online payment can be made for more than one person by using the same PayPal account or credit card, but the full name of the applicant for whom the payment is made should be mentioned each time.

 

   4. Cover letter

 

A single cover letter must be submitted for families and groups. The list of the group members must be attached.

 

 

 

 IMPORTANT!

 

  • The applicants apply to the Embassy of Armenia in person or through a travel agent by providing him/her a letter of authorization.
  • Visa processing time is 10 working days.
  • In case of rejection, the Embassy does not provide any clarifications or comments.
  • In India it is only the Embassy of Armenia in New Delhi that provides consular services.

Q.2

How do citizens of Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh holding ordinary passport obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

Citizens of Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can obtain Armenian entry visa only by invitation and at the diplomatic representations of the Republic of Armenia abroad.

 

Invitations must be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by

           

  • juridical persons registered in Armenia,
  • authorities of Armenia and diplomatic representations, international organizations accredited in Armenia and their representatives.

Physical persons submit their invitations to the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of Armenia.

 

After approval, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Passport and Visa Department of the Police sends the confirmation to the concerned Embassy for visa issuance.

 

The applicant should submit the application form along with other required documents only after approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Passport and Visa Department of the Police.

 

Q.3

How do citizens of Maldives and Malaysia holding ordinary passport obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

Citizens of Maldives and Malaysia obtain Armenian entry visa:

 

  • Through e-Visa Issuance System
  • On arrival in Armenia (only single entry tourist visa up to 120 days)
  • By applying to any Embassy of Armenia abroad with the required documents as referred in Q1

Q.4

How do citizens of India holding diplomatic passport obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

For holders of Indian Diplomatic Passports visiting the Republic of Armenia up to 30 days, entry visa is not required.

 

Q.5

How do citizens of India holding official passport obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

The following documents are required:

  1. Note Verbal from the Ministry of External Affairs of India
  2. Visa application form with passport-size colored photo
  3. Passport and its photocopy

Q.6.

How do citizens of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives and Malaysia holding diplomatic/official passport obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Armenia?

 

The following documents are to be provided:

 

  1. Note Verbal from the concerned Embassy
  2. Visa application form with passport-size colored photo
  3. Passport and its photocopy
