Fourth Familiarization Programme for Resident Heads of Missions at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) under the Ministry of External Affairs

On August 23-27, Ambassador of Armenia Youri Babakhanian, along with other 26 newly arrived ambassadors, participated at the 4th Familiarization Programme for Resident Heads of Missions at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
During the seminar, the new ambassadors were introduced to the main directions of the country's foreign policy, including contemporary dimensions and challenges, strategic issues, relations with neighbouring countries and major powers, economic initiatives, development partnership and health diplomacy as well as the current challenges of India.
The lectures were presented by the senior officers of the Ministry of External Affairs. Minister of External Affairs of India Rajkumar Ranjan Singh handed over Certificates of Participation to the ambassadors at the Valedictory Session.
