Ambassador A. Martirosyan Presented His Credentials to the President of India

On August 28, Ambassador of Armenia Armen Martirosyan presented his Letters of Credence to the President of India Pranab Mukherjee.

After the ceremony of handing over the credentials, a private conversation between the Ambassador and the President took place. President Mukherjee expressed satisfaction over the friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Armenia and India. He highlighted the historical importance of Armenians in different domains of India. 
 
Ambassador Martirosyan in his turn affirmed the willingness of the Government of Armenia to expand and deepen relations with India in all spheres.  He emphasized the importance of consistent implementation of joint projects and added that besides bilateral cooperation, Armenia and India have effective cooperation in multilateral international institutions. 
 
In conclusion, President Mukherjee requested Ambassador to convey his warm regards to the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
