The academic chair of homeopathy is established at Yerevan State Medical University

On April 6-9, the delegation of the Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi headed by the rector of the university Professor M. Narimanyan paid a working visit to New Delhi.

The delegation along with the Ambassador of Armenia in India A. Martirosyan held meetings with the leadership of the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Armenian side presented main directions of University's activities and issues related to the organizaion of education of Indian students at YSMU. To insure more effective cooperation between the Yerevan State Medical University and the interested Indian structures, the two sides agreed to systematize exchange of information.

On April 09, the Armenian delegation participated at the International Homoeopathic Congress, where the rector of the YSMU M.Narimanyan delivered a speech. Within the framework of the conference, the Yerevan State Medical University and the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy signed the Memorandum of Understanding on establishment of the academic chair of homoeopathy at YSMU. It will enable YSMU students to study India's rich experience in this field. This programme was approved during the recent session of the Armenian-Indian intergovernmental commission held on April 01, 2016 in Yerevan.
