Armenian Philanthropic Academy of Kolkata celebrated birthday anniversary of the officer of the Armenian Army Sargis Gabrielyan

The senior lieutenant of the Armenian Armed Forces Sargis Gabrielyan, who had lost his right arm during the combat operations, has been undergoing treatment at the Kolkata branch of the world leading German prosthetics company Ottobock since July of 2016. On October 01, the students and teachers of the Armenian Philanthropic Academy of Kolkata organized the celebration of the 23rd birthday anniversary of S. Gabrielyan. The students of the college prepared musical performances and poem recitals.

Ambassador of Armenia Armen Martirosyan attended the event and delivered congratulatory remarks. At the end, Ambassador presented the wardens of the Armenian Holy Church of Nazareth Suzan Reuben and Sunil Sobti the Letter of Gratitude from the Defence Minister of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan for the sponsorship of officer Gabrielyan's treatment.

Sargis Gabrielyan will return to Yerevan on October 6 and will resume his service in the Army.
