Direct Air Communication Between Armenia and India Discussed

On April 02-05, Armenian delegation headed by the Chairwoman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia Ms. Tatevik Revazyan paid a working visit to India. Within the framework of the visit, the Armenian delegation held meetings with the representatives of the leading Indian airlines.

The delegation of the Civil Aviation Committee and Ambassador of Armenia to India Armen Martirosyan were received by the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation of India Suresh Prabhu and the Director General of the Civil Aviation of India B.S. Bhullar.

The interlocuters discussed the possibility of establishing direct air communication between the two countries.

On April 05, the meeting of the Civil Aviation delegation and the representatives of the Armenian community in New Delhi was held at the Embassy chancery.
