Ambassador Martirosyan pays working visit to Bangladesh

On March 26, Ambassador of Armenia to Bangladesh (with residence in New Delhi) Armen Martirosyan participated in the celebrations dedicated to the Independence Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Dhaka.

On March 27, within the framework of the visit, Ambassador Martirosyan met with the officials of the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh and discussed the prospects of the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

On the same day, Ambassador Martirosyan was received by the Minister of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh Asaduzzaman Noor. At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, as well as issues related to preservation of Armenian historical and cultural heritage in Bangladesh.

Ambassador Martirosyan also discussed the issue of preservation of Armenian monuments during his meeting with the Secretary General of the Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO Md. Sohorab Hossain.
