Representatives of the Armenian Community in India awarded medals

On April 13, upon recommendation of the Embassy of Armenia in New Delhi, the Minister of Defence of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan decorated the wardens of the Church Committee of the Armenian Holy Church of Nazareth Sunil Sobti and Suzan Rouben with the medals of Vazgen Sargsyan, in recognition of their personal contribution for organization of medical treatment of the military men wounded during the combat operations and support of their families.

Senior lieutenant of the Armenian Armed Forces Sargis Gabrielyan, sergeant of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army Gevorg Dadasyan and Major Sargis Stepanyan received medical treatment in one of India's best medical institutions under the auspices of the Armenian Holy Church of Nazareth in Kolkata.

Throughout the course of their treatment, the brave son's of our motherland and their accompanying relatives were hosted at the Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy.
