Ambassador of Armenia Armen Martirosyan Presented His Credentials to the President of Sri Lanka

Today, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia Armen Martirosyan (residence in New Delhi) presented his credentials to the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena.

Newly appointed Ambassadors of eleven other countries handed over their credentials during the same ceremony held at the President’s Palace.

After the official ceremony, Ambassador Martirosyan discussed the steps for activation of bilateral interstate relations with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka.The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on bilateral agenda, emphasizing the development of trade and economic relations as well as the opportunities of cooperation in the spheres of education and culture between Armenia and Sri Lanka.
