Meeting of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the President of India Foundation

On October 31, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Davit Karapetyan received the President of the India Foundation Ram Madhav.

The interlocutors touched upon the bilateral agenda between Armenia and India and exchanged views on the prospects of developing relations between the two countries.

Both sides emphasized the importance of further intensifying cooperation between the expert communities of the two countries, including through the implementation of joint programs and initiatives in areas of mutual interest. Ram Madhav presented the main directions of the Foundation's activities and the programs implemented towards overcoming common challenges.

The parties also touched upon regional developments. The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefed his interlocutor on the peace agenda pushed forward by Armenia, as well as Armenia's vision for enhancing regional and interregional connectivity and developing comprehensive cooperation through the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, highlighting the importance of the institutionalization of the peace established in the region as a result of the Washington agreements.
